I had my husband take these quick shots before he took off to New Orleans for business.  Its been lonely with him gone but alas I've gotten quite a bit of jewelry making/experimenting and t.v. watching in.  I'm slightly obsessed with Veronica Mars.  I now would like to become a P.I. or perhaps just a reason to spy on people.

Well, technically these shoes weren't on my 30 for 30.  However I was going to a place I felt needed a bit more dressing up.  so I threw on these heels.  Another one of the 30 for 30 rules, suggestions was to not spend any money for the duration of the month.  Well, I may or may not have bought a dress at Target.  but in my defense, it was only $6 bucks.(6 bucks!)  How could I not and it just happened to be this little green number.

This was a good day.  Sunday was Fathers day and my husband's birthday.  Gosh, I'm married to good man.  You should see how my son idolizes him.  That alone is evidence of a good father.  Also, Sunday is when we try very hard to be on time for church.  Doesn't always happen and I'm not quite sure why because we don't meet until 1:00.  There's always something, ya know?

and even when you do think you have everything covered, you realize your 8 month old is sock-less and blanket-less.  On a rainy day too...

Well a week into it, and apparently half of my clothes have been given to me and the other half are from Target.  I am a walking add for Mossimo.  I know that my iphone doesn't take the best of pictures, this said while my SLR camera sits collecting dust.  but I already feel awkward taking pictures of myself, so we're just going for poor quality all around.  

30 for 30 plan

Ever since I found Kendi, I've been inspired, and slightly obsessed.  I love her 30 for 30 idea and am excited to see how this little challenge will effect my personal style, and shopping style.  You see, the biggest reason for participating in this little thing is to find out what I really need and perhaps become a smarter shopper.  At least be more mindful of what I am buying.  I tend to buy the same things, so I love Kendi's philosophy of shopping with a purpose.

So I know that I am about a week late, but I actually started on Monday, I just haven't posted my pictures.  Life has been busy.  I'll play catch up tomorrow. or the next. or the next.

What I want!

just sending at little Etsy love...ahhh I love Etsy, everything {well almost everything} is soooo cute. I want it all, but here are a couple things that have rocketed to the top of my wanty list. {besides those freakin cute black crocheted Uggs} I hope I can be like these designers when I grow up.
